Dr Kalyan Srungavarapu, is a UK trained Orthopedician having special interest in surgery of adult hip and knee reconstruction, arthroscopic surgeries, trauma and stem cell therapy in Orthopedics. A refined and well trained surgeon on all nuances of modern cutting edge technology; he is a boon to the trauma affected residents of Oman. Dr Kalyan completed his MBBS, MS (Orthopeadics) and MCh Orthopeadics (UK). He has been awarded prestigious professor Dawid Rowley’s award for his research work in United Kingdom. A member of the Royal college of Physicians and Surgeons (MRCPS), American Academy of Orthopeadics Surgeons (MAAOS) and the IMA, Dr Kalyan is widely published in local and international journals. Dr Kalyan has undergone special training on computer assisted hip and knee joint replacement surgeries from the renowned Hirandani Hospital, Mumbai keeping him abreast with the latest advancements in the field from the pioneers
